Reviews

Wonderful, peaceful place to unwind. Great location, warm and friendly hosts, located close to Picton. Looking forward to return.

I strongly recommend this B & B. We visited with friends from England and were welcomed with open arms. Elizabeth and Martin went above and beyond all expectations to welcome us into their home and make us comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, however not recommended for losing weight!!! Elizabeth was even kind enough to provide us with a custom scenic route that we could take on our way back home. I am definitely adding this B & B to my list of places to return.

We had a wonderful overnight getaway at Happiness Haven and returned home refreshed. While it is only 3 hours from Ottawa or Toronto, Prince Edward County is like another world. It has not become rushed and urban like Ottawa or Toronto. It is still relaxed and rural. We enjoyed driving through the area, seeing the scenery, the historical buildings, and the small wineries and breweries. There was so much to see, we could have stayed much longer. Happiness Haven was a great base of operations. The home was comfortable with a good view of the Bay of Quinte from both the living room and deck. The breakfast delicious. Our hosts were interesting, charming and knowledgeable. Here is a hint. They are both interested in vintage cars. Ask to see the collection.
